Peoria-based rockers South Side Cindy release new video. These greater-Chicagoland area rockers have released a brand new video to the song 'We The People' & which is part of their latest album titled 'State of Mind'. The band is led by Cindy Youngren, a Brimfield, IL native who decided 6 years ago that a cover band wasn't the route to follow to achieve her dreams, so she put together her own team to collaborate, record, perform and the result is South Side Cindy. LOUDER THAN LOVE: THE GRANDE BALLROOM STORY While the West Coast was groovin’ to the sounds of the “Summer of Love” in 1967, Detroit was pumping out a hard-driving, gritty, raw sound that was “Louder Than Love.” At the epicenter of this seminal music scene stood The Grande Ballroom, Detroit’s original rock and roll palace. “LOUDER THAN LOVE: The Grande Ballroom Story,” a new film by producer/director Tony D’Annunzio, relates the story of the hallowed halls that started it all, as told by the artists and fans who helped fuel The Grande phenomenon. The film will make its Chicago screening debut this Saturday April 14th at The Logan Theatre (2646 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago, IL). Showtime is 3 PM Click HERE for additional information and tickets to the show. April 10, 2012
