_Formed in late 2007, Lights Out Chicago replicates the music of UFO in meticulous detail. Fans that see the band will hear the entire Strangers In The Night album, played with the same fire and passion as they take their audience back to a very memorable night when UFO invaded the Chicago Amphitheater on October 14th 1978.
In the late 70's early 80's, the founding members of  Lights Out Chicago, who grew up in the Berwyn IL. area, played classic rock 'n' roll either in the same or different bands. They sometimes played at the same gigs with different band members in several Battle of the Bands. By the mid 80s however, they had gone their separate ways.

In late 2005, a mutual friend of the band was able to get a hold of Joe Mazzuca and reunited him with Eric Preisler and Richard Leonard who had since married and started families. In early 2007, they decided to give the band another try and dusted off the old axes. Keyboard player George Logemann joined the band in September 2009 and has been a great addition to the band.
Singer Jeff Tokar joined the band in October 2010 and brought a new dynamic to the band with a very broad vocal range.
Drummer Lamar Almeida joined the band in August 2011 and adds a new dynamic to the band with his technical mastery of the drum kit.

UFO was a heavy influence "back in the day" and Lights Out's set list includes the expanded version of the Strangers in the Night album.
