_Kevin Lee is a Chicago singer/songwriter who has been making music and
rocking audiences locally and around the world in one way or another
for many years now. He is also one of the 1st artists I met and
interviewed upon my arrival to the Chicago scene in the fall of 2006.
It's been some time since we last spoke music, so we recently sat down
and talked about his band, the new 2010 record and his plans for the
future.

_When it comes to the "Makers & Shakers" of our Chicago scene, it's
not always bands & musicians the ones making all the noise, doing
all the talking and having fun in the process. On a recent visit
to the CR Studios by Dan, Mark and the newest addition to the show,
Gina, I turned the table on them as I became the interviewer this time
and talked about the show, its origins and their thoughts on the scene's
current status quo.

_Fist To The Sky is a Chicago band that like many others around the
country, has been pluggin' away for a few years now trying to make a
name for themselves. They have recently released their 1st EP titled
'Light Up The World' and took the time to sit down with me to talk about
the band, the new demo and their future plans.

_I recently
sat down with 2 of individuals, who in addition to being local
musicians (for the band Veilside), are also the founders of the
Chicago's Original Band Board (a Facebook group page dedicated to our
original music scene). We talked about the current scene's status quo and our hopes for it.

THE RISE OF CHRONIC EDGE.
_There's a new band surfacing in the Chicago area. The band, which has risen from the ashes of what once was Blue Rage, is called Chronic Edge (a.k.a Eve's Eviction
@ time of interview).
Guitarists Vince DeVincenzo & Terry Tuccori recently stopped over for a visit to chat about Eve's Eviction and what we can expect from them in the months to come. Click HERE to read what they had to say... SACRED DAWN talks about A Madness Within.
_Sacred Dawn is one of the bright
spots in the Chicago metal scene and like many of its peers, has gone
thru its fair share of changes, tribulations and musical as well as
personal growth. The band has just released its 2nd full-length album,
the aptly-titled 'A Madness Within'. Other than social gatherings, we
hadn't really talked band business and music in a while so one day a few
weeks ago, a couple of its members stopped over
for a chat and brought us to date on all things Sacred Dawn.
Click HERE to read how that conversation went. Enjoy! A Chat with the women of LOSING SCARLET.
_LOSING SCARLET
is part of a new breed of female-fronted Chicago rock bands that is
making their mark in not only our local scene, but in the region as well
with great songs, actual rock shows and the desire to rise above the
status quo. The band's been around for a few years now and are releasing
a brand-new album this month. I recently had a chance to chat with lead
vocalist Jodi Kell and bassist Petra Sith when they stopped over to
talk about the band and their new record.
