Chicago's Rock was born out of the need to find a place with real and complete information about musicians and bands in the Chicago and surrounding areas in a respectable, classy, credible and entertaining publication.
Our main purpose is to provide our local artists with a place in cyberworld where they can promote themselves, upcoming events, music releases and strengthen the sense of community within our scene, thru networking.
We also work to provide the local and visiting public with high quality photographic, video and text reports, audio clips, interviews and other material, in order to give them more information to make an intelligent decision regarding bands/artists they want to see and get the most out of our local entertainment.
Please note that this publication is for Chicago (and Chicago-area) bands only. If you are or become one of our friends and are not in the area, we can trade a link on the 'Friends Outside Chicago' section.
Also please don't send generic "check me out" or "how 'bout some pub, add my band" messages as they won't even get you a response from us. A professional, well written message in proper English, will get you the professional response your band deserves.
